The Shrine of Remembrance is Victoria's principal war memorial attracting close to 600,000 visits annually. The Shrine, managed by a Board of Trustees, is responsible for the preservation and care of the Shrine.
The Shrine has in place an Education Program linked to the primary, secondary and VCE curriculum. Over 45,000 school children visit the Shrine each year as part of a school excursion.
The Shrine's Exhibitions and Collections team produce an annual exhibition program which rotates temporary exhibitions for three to six months in either of two temporary exhibitions spaces.
Shrine staff work as part of a team, and together with volunteers deliver a range of programs and services to the general public, veterans, tourists and other groups and organisations.

The Shrine is ideally located adjacent to St Kilda Road the Botanic Gardens and CBD. The Shrine is well serviced by public transport and onsite staff carparking is available.
