Bequests

Your contribution…in their honour

A bequest to the Shrine of Remembrance ensures the ongoing work by the Shrine in the areas of education, commemoration and remembrance can continue. Bequests may be made in the memory or honour of a relative or friend. We recommend that you seek advice from your solicitor or financial adviser in arranging a bequest to the Shrine of Remembrance.

To notify us of your bequest please complete the Notified Bequest form.

Your contribution includes supporting the following Shrine initiatives:

  •  Maintain and enhance the Shrine and the Shrine Reserve as an active memorial to Australian service men and women.
  • Promote the Shrine of Remembrance and the Shrine Reserve as a solemn, sacred place of Remembrance.
  • Advance the knowledge and understanding of Victorian service and sacrifice by the provision of education programs and exhibitions.
  • Continue to deliver and grow the education programs to Victorian school children which currently services over 60,000 students each year.

Your bequest to the Shrine of Remembrance Foundation will contribute to the realisation of these activities to future programs.
