War and Peace – A Walk of Harmony. In these troubled times it is often our younger members of the population that are courageous and stand tall together to give voice to an issue. This project continues to bring together students from the Turkish Islamic, Catholic and State schools from the area of Broadmeadows. The young men of today will walk in the steps of the young men of the past, gaining a deep sense of sacrifice and an opportunity to pay homage. Walking the path a mateship, a path carved out along the footpaths of Melbourne and upon the shores of Gallipoli Peninsula, we return to this spiritual marker in 2016 more insightful and changed forever. We enter the Shrine as a Band of Brothers and as torchbearers of peace and harmony. For further details of this project please contact the Project Manager: Ms Helen Schiele (0417 564 181) hleenjschiele@gmail.com
