Wish you were here: Textile artists honour a century of service is on loan to the Shrine courtesy of the Wangaratta Textile Association. Artists were encouraged to take inspiration from the silk-embroidered postcards of the First World War and to consider conflicts affecting all nations in the last 100 years. Over 400 postcards have been created by more than 40 textile artists employing a range of contemporary and traditional techniques, including embroidery, felting, weaving, knitting and collage.
