Historical memorabilia borrowed from Victorian families and private collectors will be combined with images from the collection of the Australian War Memorial to tell the story of the charge at Beersheba, of the units and the men who were there and the circumstances in which it occurred. This exhibition will be enhanced by the inclusion of contemporary drawings by artist Susan McMinn whose work is focussed on the horse as warrior.
