Gregory Grandinetti, Grandson

My grandfather was Arthur Grandinetti, a member of the crew of The SS393 Queenfish. This was the sub that blew up the Japanese freighter Rakuyo Maru on which Arthur Bancroft was a prisoner of war. My grandfather Art was one of the crew helping take care of the survivors which were a mix of British and Australian prisoners. He told me he stayed awake for 72 hrs taking care of the survivors. I have included some pics of Arthur "Blood" Bancroft that my Grandfather had.
