This service is held to remember and commemorate the service and sacrifice of Aboriginal service men and women, who have served Australia in every major conflict from the Boer War to the present.

The annual ceremonial wreath laying service runs for up to an hour. In addition to the welcome address from Aunty Dot Peters and other speeches, there will be performances by the Royal Australian Air Force band and Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place Choir. All members of the public are welcome to attend, and will be invited to lay a poppy in remembrance at the end of the service.
