    The Shrine Monthly Remembrance Service honours Victorian servicemen and women from all branches of the Armed Forces. In particular, we remember Victorians who served during the First and Second World Wars, who once would have attended their annual Pilgrimage in this month, but due to the passage of time are no longer able to.

    In World War I, 89,000 Victorians served overseas. 19,000 made the supreme sacrifice.
    In World War II, 297,000 Victorians served overseas. 10,900 made the supreme sacrifice.

    We will remember them.

    The Korean Veterans Association of Australia (Victoria) will hold their annual remembrance service in recognition of all Victorian's who served in the Korean War. Australians served in the Army, Navy, and Air Force in the defence of South Korea between 1950 and 1953. After the armistice was signed, significant Australian forces remained in Korea until 1957. Over 17,000 Australians served in Korea and the surrounding waters—356 were killed and 1,500 were wounded.

    An annual service is held to honour the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) on the Sunday closest to 31 July, marking the date of their arrival in Vietnam in 1962.
