The Association, which has branches all over the world, commemorates the service and sacrifice of French soldiers on Remembrance Day each year. On this day the Association also remembers those Australians who gave their lives on French soil in the First World War and for French freedom in the Second World War.

The Association Des Anciens Combattants Francais de Victoria will be joined by Camberwell Primary School for the commemorative service, as part of the Shrine's 'Adopt an Ex-Service Organisation' program.
