Join us at week's close to honour those who have served and sacrificed so that we may enjoy our lives of relative peace, comfort and freedom.
Each Sunday we pause to remember a different event from Australia's military history. We remember the men and women who took part in these events, and the lives lost or forever changed.
Today we remember the Royal Australian Corps of Transport and all those who have served within it. On 1 June 1973, the Royal Australian Corps of Transport was formed. The Corps is responsible for the movement of the Army, its equipment and personnel. It uses all modes of transport available and operates in Australia and overseas in times of peace and in war.
