Access to the 2021 Anzac Day dedicated media zone is only permitted with a pre-approved Media Zone pass. Please fill in the form below to apply.
Media registrations close 5pm Thursday 15 April 2021.
Passes must be collected between midday and 5pm on Wednesday 21 April 2021 and no later than 5pm on Thursday 22 April 2021.
Key timings for media on Anzac Day
- Media arrivals: 4.30am to 5.30am (major network vehicle bump-in evening prior)
- Live stream preamble commences 5.40am
- Dawn Service: 6am to 6.30am
- Anzac Day March: 9.30am to 11am (approximately)
- Commemorative Service: will commence at the conclusion of the march
Information packs including Order of Service will be distributed with media passes.
Media zone guidelines
Foot access to the Dawn Service Media Zone 1 (North East lawn) OR Media Zone 2 (North West lawn) will be via the Eastern steps (Birdwood Avenue side).
Vehicle access is only by prior approval. Refer to the application form below.
Media must stay within their allocated Media Zone and must not traverse the terrace area, nor move around or make sounds once the service commences.
Camera lights or flash photography is not allowed during the Dawn Service. There will be sufficient light from the lectern to capture speakers’ faces.
Drones are not permitted to be flown onsite at any time.
Commemorative Service Media Zone
Media with Dawn Service accreditation will be permitted access to Media Zones 1 & 2, as allocated, during the Commemorative Service. Entry is between 10.45am and 11am.
Media must not move around or make sounds during the Commemorative Service.
Please turn off your mobile phone until the conclusion of the Commemorative Service.
Media are not permitted on the concrete area or lower grass mounds between or in front of Media Zone 1 & 2.
