The 2/14th Australian Field Regiment was an artillery unit raised in 1940 for service during the Second World War. From 1940 they served in Darwin, acting as a garrison force and didn't deploy overseas until late 1943. The 2/14th supported the 5th Division's operations on New Guinea in 1944 before following them to New Britain in 1945. There, they engaged with Japanese forces on the island until the end of the war. Their final duty was once again as a garrison force, this time on Rabaul, before they disbanded in January 1946.
The 2/14th Australian Field Regiment will be supported by students and staff of Christ Church Grammar at the service.
