Bring your family to explore the world of commemorative tattoos with our summer family activity.

Families are invited to explore the Ink in the Lines exhibition, before designing remembrance birds and fold themed chatterboxes with engaging prompts. Our family-friendly activities offer a creative and interactive way to delve into the exhibition's themes of belonging, identity, and commemoration.

Ink in the Lines is a touring exhibition from the Australian War Memorial on display at the Shrine until February 2024. The exhibition showcases Australia’s modern veterans and their families, who through their tattoos commemorate the people, events and experiences that shaped their lives.

This activity is designed for primary school-aged children. No bookings are required.

Please note, this workshop will run from Monday 15 to Friday 19 January, and Monday 22 to Thursday 25 January.
