In the lead up to Anzac Day, this free school holiday program invites families to explore stories of medals, memory and creativity.
Children will join a special guided tour of the Shrine, discovering First World War medals, stories of bravery, and even an original Gallipoli landing boat. After the tour, kids can get creative in a hand-on activity designing their own medal-themed bookmark to take home.
Blending storytelling with creativity, this program encourages children to explore, reflect and connect with Anzac Day in a way that is meaningful and easy to understand. Through engaging stories and interactive experiences, they’ll gain insight into service, sacrifice and remembrance.
Perfect for kids aged 8-12 years old.
