The Shrine of Remembrance’s new exhibition Trenches to Runway: Military Influences on Popular Fashion uncovers how some of the most familiar fashion garments we wear have been born out of military tradition, innovation and necessity.
Join an expert curator on this exclusive exhibition tour as they explore how military clothing design and wartime conditions have profoundly influenced popular fashion.
After the tour, enjoy a private high tea and Q&A with the curator.
There are two tours available. The first runs from 11am to 12.30pm, and the second runs from 2pm to 3.30pm.
This event is part of Melbourne Fashion Week.
