10.55am - 11am | Her Excellency the Governor lays a wreath at the Stone of Remembrance on behalf of the people of Victoria. Recitation of The Ode. Still and Last Post sounded by the Bugler |
11am | One minute's silence |
11.03am | Abide with Me, performed by Silvie Paladino accompanied by the RAN Band. |
11.05am | In Flanders Fields, recited by Shrine Young Ambassador |
11.07am | Remembrance Day Address by Her Excellency the Governor |
11.13am | Remembrance Day reflection by Vivian Nguyen AM, followed by wreath laying |
11.30am | National anthem, performed by Silvie Paladino accompanied by the RAN Band. Pigeons are released from the Upper Balcony of the Shrine monument |
11.36am | Ceremony concludes |
12pm | The natural ray of light illuminates the Stone of Remembrance in the Sanctuary |
