Join us for an insightful Q&A to launch Recovering the Past, a captivating photographic exhibition that bridges the gap between the past and present.

Recovering the Past showcases historical images of men of the Australian Imperial Force superimposed with modern images of Belgium’s army bomb disposal team's ongoing work on the former Western Front. It offers a powerful testament to the enduring impact of war.

This Q&A with the acclaimed photographer behind the exhibition, Ian Alderman, will uncover the meticulous process of combining historical and contemporary images and unpack his experiences capturing the stark realities of the 'Iron Harvest' in Northwest Belgium. Following the discussion, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exhibition alongside Ian Alderman and learn more about the individual photographs.

Admission is free, however, bookings are essential to secure your spot.
