The Korean Veterans Association service has been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. While we are unable to gather together we'll bring you a commemorative broadcast to ensure that the service and sacrifice of thousands is still remembered.
Only 5 years after the end of the Second World War, Australia became involved in the Korean War. Personnel from the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), and the Australian Regular Army (ARA) were committed soon after the war began and would serve for the next 3 years in the defence of South Korea.
