Join us at week's close to honour those who have served and sacrificed so that we may enjoy our lives of relative peace, comfort and freedom.

Each Sunday we pause to remember a different event from Australia's military history. We remember the men and women who took part in those events, and the lives lost or forever changed.

This week's service remembers the HMAS Parramatta, sunk by German submarine U-559 on 27 November 1941. We honour the 138 crew members who lost their lives while serving their country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. The 24 survivors are also remembered for their courage and resilience in the face of tragedy.

Shrine Representative:

  • Shrine Governor Colonel Jason Cooke
