Legacy is a charity formed in 1923 on the basis of a promise to help veterans’ families carry on with their lives after the loss or injury of their loved one. Since then, Legacy has provided support and care to the families of Australian Defence Force personnel who have been killed or injured.
Each year in the lead up to Remembrance Day, Legacy holds a service for the widows of Australian service personnel. Here, they remember their loved ones who have served and who have died.
