Trees of memory school holiday program

  • Free, no bookings required
  • Available during visiting hours

Explore the stories behind the many beautiful and meaningful trees planted around the Shrine. There are trees of different species, different ages, some familiar and some especially rare. Each represents precious memories and the bonds between people.

Collect your free Tree Trail from the Visitor Centre and enjoy the Shrine's sprawling lawns and gardens. Then come back inside to the art table and make a painted cut-out of your favourite tree to add to our big collage of the Shrine’s memorial gardens.

The art table runs from 11am-2pm daily during the Easter holidays, except weekends and holidays.
