  • Recommended for years 10-12 studying history, English, sociology, health and human development
  • Up to 25 students per session

Defending with Pride is the first of its kind for an Australian war memorial. It reveals the history of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) people in service. Depending on the needs and interests of your class we can do any combination of the following experiences:

  • Shrine tour
  • Exhibition tour and talk
  • Structured discussion and writing workshop
