Each year on 11 November at 11am—the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month—we pause for one minute’s silence to honour all who have served, suffered, or died in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.
On this day in 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of devastating warfare. The Armistice signed by Germany marked the end of the First World War and gave birth to this day of remembrance.
Join us on the forecourt for the Victorian State Remembrance Service.
No bookings are required. Limited seating will be available.
The service will be live-streamed and available to watch via this web page, or our Facebook and YouTube channels.
