Proposing a new memorial tree and plaque

Shrine Trustees consider applications for new memorial trees and plaques provided they are in keeping with the Shrine’s purpose:

To memorialise the service and sacrifice of Victorians and Australians in war, conflict, peacekeeping and peacemaking.

We consider applications for:

  • ships
  • battalions
  • units
  • squadrons
  • Allied Nations or those that have served in ADF operations, forces or groups.

Any new memorial tree and plaque must be dedicated with a commemorative service. Download our Wreath Laying and Other Services Policy for information about conducting a service at the Shrine:
