Events at the Shrine of Remembrance

The Shrine of Remembrance is one of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks, located close to the CBD and easily accessible by tram or on foot. As an inclusive place of cultural significance, the Shrine welcomes all event enquiries that support our enduring purpose and objectives.

Proceeds from venue hire and catered events help us care for the Shrine and provide free educational experiences for students and general visitors.

Venue hire is subject to approval and available in non-ceremonial areas of the Shrine in spaces uniquely suited to accommodate meaningful events.

Spaces for hire include:

  • themed architectural courtyards;
  • meeting rooms of various sizes;
  • an auditorium that seats 137; and
  • an open plan flat floor area that seats 300.

These select spaces provide compelling options for corporate events, leadership training days and presentations with a purpose.

The Shrine has recently partnered with Peter Rowland Group. Enquiries for catered events may be directed to shrine@peterrowland.com.au
