The Shrine of Remembrance is one of Melbourne's most iconic landmarks. As an inclusive place of cultural significance, the Shrine welcomes all event enquiries that support our enduring purpose and objectives.
Proceeds from venue hire and catered events help us care for the Shrine and provide free educational experiences for students and general visitors.
Venue hire is subject to approval and available in non-ceremonial areas of the Shrine in spaces uniquely suited to accommodate meaningful events.
Spaces for hire include:
- themed architectural courtyards;
- meeting rooms of various sizes;
- an auditorium that seats 137; and
- an open plan flat floor area that seats 300.
These select spaces provide compelling options for corporate and private functions, award ceremonies and presentations with a purpose.
Events can also include exclusive private guided tours of the Shrine monument and Galleries, giving guests a deeper connection to commemoration and remembrance while creating a unique and elevated experience.
