As a Victorian Government entity, the Shrine of Remembrance (the Shrine) operates within the procurement framework established by the Victorian Government. The Shrine is committed to conducting procurement activities in accordance with Victorian Government procurement policies and principles.
Shrine Procurement Activity Plan
The Shrine publishes its planned procurement activities to help suppliers identify upcoming opportunities over the next 12 months. The Shrine advertises all tenders on the Buying for Victoria Tenders Portal.
Supplier Code of Conduct
The Victorian Government is committed to ethical, sustainable and socially responsible procurement. The Supplier Code of Conduct describes minimum standards covering integrity, ethics and corporate governance; labour and human rights; health, safety and security; and environmental sustainability.
Suppliers, including their employees, third party contractors, consultants and subcontractors, to the Shrine are expected to comply with the standards it sets out. More information on the Supplier Code of Conduct can be found on the Buying for Victoria website.
Complaints Management
If you wish to lodge a complaint about a procurement process, please email details of your complaint to the Chief Procurement Officer at corporategovernance@shrine.org.au and include:
- Your name and organisation’s contact details
- The procurement process to which the complaint relates
- The basis for the complaint, specifying the issues involved and
- How the procurement process and the specific issues raised affect you or your organisation
The Shrine will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within five working days and appoint an independent person to investigate the matter. The Shrine aims to provide a written response outlining the outcome of the complaint within 21 days of receipt. Where additional information or external advice is required, this timeframe may be extended. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer the matter to the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB).
