The Shrine is open

The health and safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers is our top priority. We have implemented physical distancing, hygiene, cleaning and public health measures in line with the latest Victorian Government and Department of Health and Human Services regulations to ensure your visit is as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Entry is free. Please note, capacity limits apply and cloaking is not available.

The Shrine Reserve and Memorial

The Shrine monument is surrounded by 13 hectares of parkland known as the Shrine Reserve. The Reserve encompasses gardens, sculptures, water features and hundreds of memorials. Free introductory walks leave at 10.30am and 2.30pm from the Visitor Centre entrance.

Remembrance Services

Visitors are welcome to attend remembrance services on the Shrine Reserve and in the Sanctuary within the Shrine's capacity limits. All services are also broadcast on the Shrine’s Facebook and You Tube channels.

The Shrine Shop

The Shop is open for Shrine gifts, publications, souvenirs and coffee. Please use contactless payment if possible.
